TAS 039 What Amazon Sellers Should Be Focusing On To Succeed – Top 3

In this episode of The Amazing Seller Podcast you'll learn the 3 things you should be focusing on in your Amazon business to make sure you succeed.

Assuming You Have a Good Product all you need to focus on are these things:

  • 1. Sales
  • 2. Feedback + Reviews
  • 3. Customer Service

Amazon will treat you real well if you make sales. This is why you need to focus on how to receive more, even if it means promotions and other strategies in the beginning.

When your product starts to receive reviews it will automatically receive higher conversions, which will produce more sales. Once again giving Amazon what it wants.

The other component that Amazon wants is good seller feedback. This tells them that your customer is happy and they will further promote your products.

So, if you just focus on these 3 things…you will have a very good chance for success.

  • Hi scott,
Thank you so much for your podcast and i learn much from it. I get a 3 star Feedback today with the comment “it is just ok”. I want to know in this situation, what can i do to fix it?

    Best Regards
    Leo

    • Hey Leo,

If it’s a product feedback and not a review, you can always ask Amazon to remove it (since it isn’t the correct place to put it). Ultimately a 3 star rating is average and since it doesn’t say anything negative about you or your product, it might be just as easy to leave it. It’s up to you

  • Hi scott,

great podcast i have a question should i be focusing on how fast the item is selling. i ask this bec i am going to have to reorder if it sells and therefore i would need to give myself time to reorder. how much time would you give? would you reorder a week before you run out?

for ex: i order 500 units to start

    i sell 5 a day for a week then goes up to 8 a day for the rest of the month so thats 5 x 7 = 35 for the next three weeks is 8 x 7 x 3 = 168 so 168 + 35 = thats 203.

so in 2 – 2 1/2 months you will run out should i reorder a week, week and a half or week weeks before i run out?

Also on the side what software do you use to keep track of sales and accounting things?

    Thank You
    Avi L
